We are always thrilled where 3d technology is making steps forward. This time there is a huge one. Spanish engineers have just 3d-printed human skin.
Spanish engineers have built a 3D printer, in which ink is human cells. This way they can create a skin that will later be used to test medical or cosmetic.
They argue that their invention can print a fully functional human skin, which, apart from these tests will be used for example for transplantation.
The skin has all the natural layer. It is even able to produce collagen itself!
We are pleased to hear that. We already have in mind a few more applications that can take advantage of this.
